"Branded Stuff"

Levis,Gap,Old Navy,Aeropostale,Adidas,Nike,Burberry and among others are just few examples of the branded names we can see anywhere in the malls and other outlets.Actually I considered myself who doesn't go for branded stuff especially those expensive items.I'm just contented in cheaper brands as long as I look pretty on it and presentable.Yesterday,we visited in Jersey Shore Premium Outlets just to check the place and hang around.A lot of our friends told us about the place and they find it great as they say.Awesome,you can see all the branded names in one place as I've mentioned lately and we did enjoy hanging around in each outlets.The place is big and nice.As i compared the prices in the malls its pretty much not the same.They sell it directly from the factory itself so they are different from the franchizees who put the prices more higher...We just bought a little stuff at Children's Place for my daughter.I'm looking forward to visit there next year to buy stuff for myself.Every boutiques are great and we want to try some branded items too sometimes...^_^

"Allergy"

Who loves seafoods?Like clams,fishes,lobsters,crabs,squids and many to mention.I think almost everyone right?Before my family moved here in America almost everyday we eat seafoods,none a single type of it I'm allergic to.I was just amazed when I came here, it started when I eat shrimp my stomach started not to like it anymore and it will lead to stomach ache.At first I don't mind it but it was followed the 2nd to third tries same scenario.While yesterday has another story because shrimp wasn't involved anymore but instead the squid...Hmmnnn yummy as I've said after I cooked it last night.After thirty minutes my tummy started to be painful and followed by diarrhea and was finished at 2:00am that means I wasn't able to sleep because of it..I took another medicine but still it didn't help alleviate the pain, so by 3:00am I decided to go to emergency at JFK Medical Center.It was my first time since birth I've been at emergency, by then ohh gosh I didn't know that I will going to wait for so long and even tried to go out to go home instead.Anyway,after two hours I refused to received an IV because all I want is a medicine that could stop the pain.So I told the doctor what I want and he listened anyway.The doctor told me to said 'goodbye' to squid as well..So by then, after that I'm ready to go home and have some rest... :(

Christmas Day

I don't know how to explain but when it comes to Christmas season especially today the 25th of the month I felt so special...That's because it's the birthday of our dear savior.The one who carry our cross and saves the people on earth from harmful to eternal life..Last night during Christmas Eve I cooked some foods to eat just right for the three of us like Crispy fried pork,spaghetti(Filipino style),Macaroni fruit salad,cakes,Fried Chicken,Meat balls,Ice cream and some sweets to eat.Happiness is unexplainable for me this day especially seeing my childs reaction on receiving and opening her bountiful presents..Of course her Daddy and I have lots of gifts for her,from her Godmother and from our friends as well..I cannot forget my daughter said that opening of presents is the best for Christmas season..hmmnnn what a kid thought...Were having so much fun today and hope it would last a lifetime..Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...^_^

Shopping for Toys

Christmas is in the air now,counting one...two...three days they're you go its Christmas day.Before that day comes of course you cannot resist to have some shopping galore. Well, few days ago we've been at Toys 'R' Us. While in store my husband and I take turns in buying the stuff we choose.My daughter is with us also choosing the stuff she likes to recieve on Christmas.She didn't know that we get the toys she made mentioned while taking turns,line-up,and pay to the register .After we paid it, we directly put it in the car baggage.It takes almost two hours inside the toy store because were taking turns.What we did really works and until now she don't have any idea at all that I have lots of hidden presents. I just keep it somewhere in the storage and didn't put under the christmas tree as per experienced last year that she will tear the gifts everytime she saw it and could not wait the Christmas eve to come.Since we only have one kid were just buying stuff only for her.Hmmnn, were spending a lot of money just for one kid,anyway she's the only daughter we have for now and we love her so much.

First Heavy Snow of the Season

Let it snow,let it snow,let it snow my little girl's phrases and her most favorite of the four seasons.Last December 19,2009 a storm warning for New Jersey and indeed it slams our place.The snow accumulate up to 12-14'inches along with a gusty wind.Were having so much fun with my kid the next day.Since we dont have enough space outside the apartment we headed to the park and have some blast with the snow.I took a lot of pictures both from my kid and my hubby as well.A lot of families are there too sleiding together with their kids.If I were to choose, winter is better than summer because humidity here is terrible.Hmmnnn, I'm looking forward to have more snow or shall I say more heavier snow for this season...^_^

"Favorite Meal"

Gerber products like applesauce,turkey,lamb,macaroni 'n cheese and among others were the foods my baby loves to eat way-back when shes still an infant.When she reached at the age of one year plus she switch to fried chicken wings especially from the chinese restaurant.Although we tried to feed her different meals she dont eat it but just want the crispy fried chicken.Yeah, we are aware that the skin of a chicken has a lot of cholesterol.Now she's 3 yrs old already,she loves chicken but atleast she added some menu like bacon,hotdog,scrambled eggs,fries and pizza as well.Aside from the mentioned foods she loves fruits as well,so the food now is well balanced.Now I tried to lessen the amount of food she intake because she's overweight.Not only to make her body looks good and fit but the most important is she's healthy.

My Post Birthday (Lost in the City)

Last Saturday, December 12, 2009 we headed to New York City as my post birthday celebrations.My husband decided to pursued since it was his weekend off.It's been five times already that we went to NYC riding a train but last time we used our car and with our GPS as our guide.I dont know what happened and suddenly the signal of the guide was lost and eventually were lost as well.It takes a lot of time going back and forth at Brooklyn bridge while unable to proceed our destination.After a couple of minutes we finally got our way and proceed to Jollibee.Since the weather is freezing we just dine in at Jollibee and after we took some walks outside and prepared to be back home in New Jersey.And as expected we got lost again and find a hard time to get out the city.What we did is we keep on asking somebody in the streets on where to go next until we reached the Washington bridge and there the GPS back to work and guide us home.My husband said his not going back in NYC driving his car but just to commute a train instead.Wheewww...were very tired that day and were so grumpy on what happened..lol..

My Christmas Tree

Started from September 2009 I'm putting up slowly my Christmas tree in which I've used last year, together along with it's decorations. Believed it or not its been a tradition in Philippines that when it comes to a month ended with "ber" Christmas season is there.So by this,people are working with it and used to decorate earlier than it has to be.Some may even join competitions the way how their decorations made by far outside the house.A lot of people also preparing for their christmas carol competitions as well..As for myself,though I'm living now in different country I'm still following the ways filipino does their own style during Christmas season.Back to my Christmas tree,it's pretty funny to look at it now for it looks hilarious.My kid messed up my decorations and transferring it from one side leaf to another side leaf.I ask my little girl on why she do that and she answered me this way; "I transferred it mommy so that it will look more prettier in my own style."I just smiled and said to myself,oh my God what a smart answer from my 3 yr old child.Day by day I really noticed her spending 2-3 minutes standing beside the tree and do some re-arranging.So.I rather not to touch it this time but leave it alone.Surely a week before christmas eve I will do some arrangement in a well presentable manner.

"Living Room"

Yesterday afternoon,I'm seated at our couch in living room watching television together with my little girl of course.Later an hour I suddenly felt headache and you know why?Simply happened because my eyes got struck all the scattered toys occupying everywhere in the living room.It's not my kid's fault and neither I why it's like that.Just try to imagine, we are just living in one bedroom apartment unit consist of one bedroom,living room,kitchen and bathroom.I don't have enough storage for the old toys and some other stuff.I'm a type of person who loves saving and keeping old and unused stuff as what my mother told me so and I followed her way.Eventhough once in a while I try to arranged it and probably the next day,they're it goes again back to the picture.I promised myself that tomorrow Saturday, I will segragate some of her favorite and less favorite stuff. The less fav toys will be put in my storage cartoons, put a masking tape on it and keep it under our king size bed in the bedroom.What a fun and difficult being a mom u know.Although right now I'm a stay at home mom for awhile but feels like I have double job.Well, anyway this is just one of my happy thoughts being a mom to my child.Such a wonderful love that only a mother can give to her little ones.

Call for Peace

Power hunger,strikes,unemployment and poverty are just common problems in my country Philippines.I was just lucky enough having migrated here in United States of America to secure my future and my childs future.I can't deny that being far away from family,relatives and friends are difficult ,uneasy and you will really feel homesick.Yes,here we will survive,get more money from hardwork,buy the stuff in which we couldn't afford to buy before and live the kind of leaving we dream of and that's totally opposite if I remain in Philippines. But, what happened in the country right now?Chaos and power hunger politicians turn the country down.It's so sad to know the latest happening about Maguindanao massacre.Imagined, 57 people dead and 34 of them are journalist.They are not just a normal killers but rather say a group of monsters who doesn't want anybody will took their place and they really afford to kill just for it and even the media people no exemption.This is a serious problem that need a resolution right away,it's very brutal and injustice.Well, anyway let's wait and see on the next few days or months if the people in grave be given justice.Eversince from the start way back when I was young I heard already about the problem in Mindanao and til now it is worsen.People in Philippines are asking peace to all men in the country.Why it's so hard for anybody to pleased somebody.I just hope and pray that soon somehow there will be changes in the country for the new management, new officials and next president of the country.Let there be peace on earth.

Simple Celebration

Early morning my little girl wakes me up and said "Mommy wake up,happy birthday mommy and i love you so much".Oh how sweet it is having a kid as sweet as mine.We celebrate it in a simple way and have some fun. We didn't pursued our plan to go to New York City because of the cold weather.Just bumming around here in New Jersey heading to places which we choose to dine out and thats none other than our favorite chinese restaurants.By then we go out for our breakfast,go to library,chinese restaurant and lastly shop some ice cream,cakes and some sweets to bring home.That's the way we celebrate my birthday in our own little way by just the three of us.Since my birthday falls in Saturday so by next day Sunday we go to church and listen the good words of God...^_^

"My Birthday Wishes"

Cakes,chocolates,ice cream and some yummy food are just a normal delights on special ocassion.I believed in the saying "Start your resolution now before the resolution starts"..Yeah, why wait for 2010 new years eve if I can slowly start now.I will change my lifestyle habit in eating as my first wish and seconded by more blessings to come in my family and good health as the most important.I'll do it slowly by cutting my meals first. Everytime my child ask some scope of ice cream I'm tempted to have mine as well.Hmmnnn,not good anymore. I don't know why but my tummy used to eat a lot more than I expect less in mind.Sometimes I viewed some photos of myself and choose not to upload it in my friendster and facebook accounts..I find myself awful, not a joke but oh God this is not me anymore. So,for now I'm eager to change slowly cut my meals and not to eat much sweets. I hope that my birthday wishes will do come true. By 2011 plan vacation in Philippines I'm looking forward that my family there will see new changes in me,not to become sexy but to stay fit and healthy...Wish me all the luck guys...^_^
